How can I help?

Are these classes the same as online CPR courses?

No, because our Blended First Aid and CPR programs are only partially online. A hands-on practice session with a licensed instructor at Rusty's Safety Group is required.

Do you offer on-site CPR & First Aid training for the workplace?

Absolutely! We offer convenient CPR classes for groups large and small. If you have a space to accommodate your group with chairs and some open floor space for CPR practice we can do it!

How long does the online course take?

They’re all a little different, but on average 1.5 – 2 hours for the CPR courses. Online courses are self-guided. They are repetitive to address different learning styles, so you can go as fast or slowly as you like.

How long is the classroom skills session?

Approximately 1/2 hour

Is there a written test?

Yes, for the healthcare providers only. For all other CPR/AED & First Aid courses there is NO written test required, however they could be required.

Where are the classes held?

At your location.

What if I must cancel a class?

You must provide 48 hrs notice for a canceled class or incur a $200 cancellation fee.

For Avert classes there are NO refunds allowed, due to the nature of this class. We will be happy to reschedule you.

What BRAND of CPR certifications are the cards?

Rusty's Safety Group uses American Safety and Health curriculum and is an HSI-approved training center.

Is there a refresher course?

Yes! All refreshers are typically half the time of the new certification class and there is a written test.

How long is the CPR First Aid certification period?

Two years from your classroom training date. Get your card the same day as class.

Will you drive anywhere to teach a class?

Yes! If you are more than 25 miles from Lake Stevens, WA I will charge the fee for one additional student to cover the cost of fuel and time. If you are more then 100 miles from Lake Stevens, WA I will charge the fee of $200.00 plus one additional student to cover the Lodging, cost of fuel, and time.

How do you like to be paid?

Payment at the time of service is always best. I do accept credit cards onsite or online. (There is a 3% fee added for credit transactions) I can invoice but this is typically reserved for clients with annual contracts. Lets discuss this when booking a class.

Do you offer annual Contracts?

We do offer a yearly contract. Which includes discounts.

Annual Contracts
